According to the question :-

$(x)(x + 2) = 11448$
Or x²+2x = 11448
Or x² + 108x - 106 x - 11448 = 0
Or x(x+108)-106(x+108) = 0
Or (x-106)(x+108)
Or x = 106, and x = - 108
Take 106 as x because it is positive even. Then x +2 = 106+2 =108

The two numbers are 106 and 108. 108 is the greater number.
