Here is your answer
Let the two consecutive integers are x and x+1

ATQ
x(x + 1) = 72 \\ \\ {x}^{2} + x = 72 \\ \\ {x}^{2} + x - 72 = 0 \\ \\ {x}^{2} + 9x - 8x - 72 = 0 \\ \\ x(x + 9) - 8(x + 9) = 0 \\ \\ (x + 9)(x - 8) = 0 \\ \\ x = 8 \: \: and - 9 \\ \\ as \:number \: is \: not \: negative \: so \\ \\ x = 8 \\ \\ other \: is \\ 8 + 1 = 9
Therefore Two consecutive integers are 8 and 9
