x^2= 490/360= 49/36
x= 7/6

7y/6=14/15
y= 4/5
therefore, 7/6 is the greater fraction.

Solution:

The product of two number is $\frac{14}{49}$  , let numbers be x and y respectively.  

Value of quotient is $\frac{35}{24}$ the means,

$x \times y=\frac{14}{15}, \frac{x}{y}=\frac{35}{24}$

Therefore let us find value of x and y we get

$\frac{x}{y}=\frac{35}{24} ; \quad x=\frac{35}{24} y$

Put value of x in $x \times y=\frac{14}{15}$ we get  \frac{35}{24} y \times y=\frac{14}{15}, therefore value of y is  

$\begin{array}{l}{y^{2}=\frac{14}{15} \times \frac{35}{24}} \\ \\{y=\sqrt{\frac{14}{15} \times \frac{35}{24}}=\frac{4}{5}}\end{array}$

Now let us calculate value of x by putting value of y in $x=\frac{35}{24} y$

we get $x=\frac{35}{24} \cdot \frac{4}{5}=\frac{7}{6}$

As we can see, value of x is greater than y. Hence X > Y.
