Given,

Product of two numbers is \dfrac{14}{15}.

One of the number is \dfrac{-20}{17}.

Other number = ?.

Let the other number be x.

According to question.

x\times\dfrac{-20}{17}=\dfrac{14}{15}\\\\\\\implies x=\dfrac{14}{15}\div-\dfrac{20}{17}\\\\\\\implies x=\dfrac{14}{15}\times-\dfrac{17}{20}\\\\\\\implies x=\boxed{\bold{\dfrac{-119}{150}}}

Let us verify that -

We have to put the value -\dfrac{119}{150} at the place

of 'x'. Then we obtain :-

\implies-\dfrac{119}{150}\times-\dfrac{20}{17}=\dfrac{14}{15}\\\\\\\implies-\dfrac{119}{15}\times-\dfrac{2}{17}=\dfrac{14}{15}\\\\\\\implies-\dfrac{7}{15}\times-\dfrac{2}{1}=\dfrac{14}{15}\\\\\\\implies\dfrac{14}{15}=\dfrac{14}{15}

Here LHS = RHS

Hence it is verified
