product of two numbers = 2475

xy = 2475

x = 2475 / y ----( 1 )

quotient = 11/9

x / y = 11/ 9

( 2475 / y ) / y = 11/ 9 [ from ( 1 ) ]

2475 / y² = 11 / 9

( 2475 × 9 ) / 11 = y²

225 × 9 = y²

y = √ ( 225 × 9 )

= √ ( 15 × 15 ) × ( 3 × 3 )

= 15 × 3

y = 45

put y = 45 in equation ( 1 ) , we get x value

x = 2475 / 45

x = 55

Therefore ,

required two numbers are x = 55 and y = 45
