Answer:

4) 64

Step-by-step explanation:

y×z = 8192

y = 2z

2z×z = 8192

2z^2 = 8192

z^2 = 4096

z = root of 4096

z = 64

smallest number = 64

• Let the first number be 'x'.

• Then , second number = 2x

• Then , according to the question , their product is 8192 .

=> x × 2x = 8192

=> 2x² = 8192

=> x² = 8192/2

=> x² = 4096

=> x = √4096

=> x = 64

• Therefore , first number = x = 64.

• And, second number :-

=> 2x

=> 2 × 64

=> 128
