Given:

  • The product of two rational number is \frac{-18}{75}
  • One rational number is   \frac{-9}{20}

To Find:

  • Find the other rational number

Solution:

     Let the other number is x

     Product of both numbers = x \times \frac{{-9}}{20}

     Product   = \frac {-18}{75}

According the question

             x \times \frac{{-9}}{20} = \frac{-18}{75}

             x= (\frac{-18}{75} )(\frac{-20}{9} )

             x= (\frac{2}{15} )\times 4

            x = \frac{8}{15}

Thus, The another number is  x = \frac{8}{15}
