Multiples are 5x and 5(x + 1),  \bold{5 \times 3=15 \text { and } 5 \times 4=20}

Solution:

Let the two number or integers be x and y

Now the numbers are a multiple of 5, that means the integers can be taken as 5x and 5y

Therefore, as x and y are successive integers that means y = x + 1

Hence, the product of two integers is: 5 x \times 5(x+1)=300

\begin{array}{l}{5 x \times 5(x+1)=300} \\ \\ {25 x^{2}+25 x-300=0}\end{array}

By solving the equation we get the value of x as 3 & 4

Substitute value of x = 3 in  \bold{5 x \times 5(x+1)=300}

If x = 4, the value is not 300.
