Answer :

  • First person is 1200
  • Second person is 1800
  • Third person is 2000

Given :

  • The profit of 5000 is to be divided among three persons in the ratio 6 : 9 : 10

To find :

  • How much does each person get

Solution :

Given

  • Total ratio is 5000
  • Ratio is 6 : 9 : 10
  • Sum of ratio = 6 + 9 + 10 = 25

↝ Share of first perosn is 6/25 × 5000

↝ 6/25 × 5000

1200

↝ Share of second person is 9/25 × 5000

↝ 9/25 × 5000

1800

↝ Share of third person is 10/25 × 5000

↝ 10/25 × 5000

2000

Hence,

  • First person is 1200
  • Second person is 1800
  • Third person is 2000

As per the details provided in the question.

In the above question, we have the details as follow.

The given data is  profit =5000.

The ratio of three persons is 6:9:10

We have to find how much does each person get .

Thus, the total ratio is equal to the total profit,

let the ratio be 6x,9x,10x

So,

6x+9x+10x=5000\\25x=5000\\x=\frac{5000}{25}

solving the above equation we get,

x=200

Therefore the profit divided in three person is as bellow,

The person with ratio 6 is 6x=6\times 200=1200\\

The person with ratio 9 is 9x=9\times 200=1800

The person with ratio 10x = 10\times 200=2000

Hence each person get 1200, 1800 and 2000.
