To write: Heron's formula to find area of triangle .

                Also , give elements of triangle.

 Solution :

  • Let , a, b , c be the sides of  triangle .
  • We know that , formula for perimeter of triangle is -

       \text { Perimeter of triangle }=a+b+c

  • Then,  we find area of triangle by Heron's Formula :

       \text { Area of triangle }=\sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}

  •  Where, s = semi perimeter and ,a, b, c are sides of triangle .

       s = \frac{perimeter}{2} \\s = \frac{a + b+ c}{2}

  • By putting values , we find area of triangle .
  • Now , There are six elements of triangle , they are three sides of triangle and three angles of triangle .

Hence, area of triangle is given by: \text { Area of triangle }=\sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}

Elements of triangle = 6 ( 3 sides of triangle + 3 angles of triangle ) .
