integers can be taken as 5x and 5y

Therefore, as x and y are successive integers that means y = x + 1

Hence, the product of two integers is: 5x x 5(x + 1)

5x x 5(x + 1) = 300

25x2 + 25x – 300 = 0

By solving the equation we get the value of x as 3 & 4

Substitute value of x = 3 in 5x x 5(x + 1) = 300

If x = 4, the value is not 300.
