Water is a liquid formed by Hydrogen and Oxygen . This is the basis of life on Earth.
It is required by all living organisms because :-
1.It regulates body temperature.
2.Helps in Digestion.
3.Maintain body processes.
》Why it is required to conserve water and How we can conserve water?
Due to some human activities the water amount is decreasing and it is needed to be protect.We can conserve water by the following ways :-
1.Conserve water by using less water in bathing , brishing and cleaning objects.By not washing them under tap and pipe.Use it by bucket.
2.Using modern system of irrigation in agriculture like- Drip Irrigation and sprinkler system.
3.Also various Water conservation Awarness programmes held for conserving Water.
4.Preserve water for future generation is required.
5.We should not waste ground water or pollute river water. It is very essential Source of Water.
》What are the Various Source of Water?
The various source of water are - Ocean,Sea,River,pond,lake,ground water etc.
Among these Sources the River water is the largest source of Drinkable water.As sea and ocean water are salty.
Rain is that Natural phenomeon which restore all the sources of water.
》What are various forms of water ?
Nature itself has different forms of water such as snow,rain,vapour and hell.
All the forms of water exists in different forms of matter i.e. solid,liquid and gaseous.
》How much water is available?
71% of earth is surrounded by water and out of 71% the ocean (saline water) occupies 97% water. Hence very little water left for us for utilising.
》What is the reason for depletion of ground water?
The reason for depletion of ground water are :-
1. Overuse of ground water for Industrial purpose.
2.Use of well and Tube-wells.
3. Deforestion *As plants hold ground water*
4.Human activities like - Soil pollution.
5.Soil Erosion.
