(c) Gallium

  • Dmitri Mendeleev published a periodic table of the chemical elements in 1869, based on the properties that occur regularly when he interprets elements from the lightest to the heaviest. When Mendeleev proposed his periodic table, he noticed gaps in the table and predicted that at that time, there were unknown elements with adequate properties to fill those gaps.
  • He called them Eka-Bor, Eka-Aluminum, and Eka-Silicon with atomic masses of 44, 68, and 72, respectively. Eka aluminium is then called gallium. The predicted Eka aluminium has almost exactly the same properties as the actual properties of the gallium element.

The properties: atomic mass, density, melting point, chloride formula and oxide formula are almost the same.

  • Eka-Aluminium and Gallium are two names for the same element because Eka-Aluminum has almost exactly the same properties as the element gallium. Properties: Atomic mass, density, melting point, chloride formula and oxide formula are almost the same.

The undiscovered element names are:

  • (i) Scandium - Ekaboron.
  • (ii) Gal-Eca Aluminum.
  • (iii) Germanium - Silicon Eka.

So,Eka-aluminium is almost same as c) Gallium
