No, homework should not be banned. Banning tools is usually silly… like banning books or banning hammers. Homework is a tool. We just need to use it appropriately.

Homework, like so much about education, needs to change and evolve.

is adjusted for the expectations and needs of each student

is designed so that students want to complete it

improves the classroom experience
