Ans. 11. the athlete runs around the circular park=10times
diameter of the park =280 meter
the distance covered by athlete in km is =
firstly if we have diameter ,we need to find the circumference of the park
circumference = 22/7 ×d
=22/7× 280
=22/1×40
=22×40
=880
the circumference is 880m
the athlete runs 10 times
so, 880 ×10=8800 m
8800 in km
1000m= 1km
8800m=8800÷1000
8.8 km
Ans. the athlete runs around the circular park 8.8km in km
