Given, height h = 24 cm, r₁ = 15 cm and r₂ = 5 cm.
We know that Slant height (l²) = h² + r²
⇒ l² = (24)² + (15 - 5)²
⇒ l² = 576 + 100
⇒ l² = 676
⇒ l = √676
⇒ l = 26 cm.
We know that curved surface area of frustum = π(r₁ + r₂)l
⇒ (22/7) * (5 + 15) * 26
⇒ (22/7) * (20) * 26
⇒ (22/7)[520]
⇒ 1634.28 cm^2.
Therefore, area of its curved surface = 1634.28 cm^2.
