Question :

The radii of two circles are 25cm and 18cm .Find the radius of the circle which has circumference equal to the sum of the circumferences of these two circles.

Formula :

Circumference of circle = 2πr

Where, r : radius of circle.

Solution :

Circumference of first circle = 2πr

 \tt \implies Circumference of first circle = 2π(25)

 \tt \implies Circumference of first circle = 50π cm

Circumference of second circle = 2πr

 \tt \implies Circumference of first circle = 2π(18)

 \tt \implies Circumference of first circle = 36π cm

Sum of Circumferences = 50π + 36π

 \tt \implies Sum of Circumferences = 86π

Circumference of third circle = 86π

 \tt \implies 2πr = 86π

 \tt \implies r = 43 cm

Answer:

Question :

The radii of two circles are 25cm and 18cm .Find the radius of the circle which has circumference equal to the sum of the circumferences of these two circles.

Formula :

Circumference of circle = 2πr

Where, r : radius of circle.

Solution :

Circumference of first circle = 2πr

\tt \implies⟹ Circumference of first circle = 2π(25)

\tt \implies⟹ Circumference of first circle = 50π cm

Circumference of second circle = 2πr

\tt \implies⟹ Circumference of first circle = 2π(18)

\tt \implies⟹ Circumference of first circle = 36π cm

Sum of Circumferences = 50π + 36π

\tt \implies⟹ Sum of Circumferences = 86π

Circumference of third circle = 86π

\tt \implies⟹ 2πr = 86π

\tt \implies⟹ r = 43 cm
