Smaller Cone = 2
Larger Cone = 3
2------------------ 300
1------------------ 300/2 = 150
3------------------- 3*150 = 450

Answer:

Curved Surface Area of Larger Cone is 450 cm².

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Radius of both cone are equal

          Ratio of their slant height = 3 : 2

          Curved Surface Area of smaller cone = 300 cm²

To find: Curved Surface Area of Larger Cone

Since radius of both cones are equal then size depends on slant height

⇒ Slant height of smaller cone = 2x & Slant Height of larger cone = 3x

Curved surface area of cone = \pi rl

Curved surface area of smaller cone = 300

\pi rl=300

\pi\times r\time(2x)=300

r=\frac{300}{2\pi x}

r=\frac{150}{\pi x}

Now, Curved surface area of larger cone = \pi rl

                                                                     = \pi\times\frac{150}{\pi x}\times3x

                                                                     = 150\times3

                                                                     = 450 cm²

Therefore, Curved Surface Area of Larger Cone is 450 cm².
