Hey mate..
=========
As given the ratio of the radius and height of the cylinder = 5 : 7

Let the radius of the cylinder = 5a
Then the height of the cylinder = 7a
Volume of the cylinder = πr^2 h
Putting the values, the volume of the cylinder will be,

Volume of the cylinder

= π(5a)^2 (7a)

=175 πa3
Given,

Volume of the cylinder= 550 cm3

Therefore,

175 πa3 = 550

Or,

a = 1 cm

Therefore, the radius of the cylinder

= ( 5×1 )cm

= 5cm

& Height of the cylinder

= ( 7×1 ) cm

= 7 cm

Hope it helps !!

Anushka80730: how a = 1
Anushka80730: can u explain
Anushka80730: ????????
Róunak: 175 × 22/7 × a3 = 550
Róunak: => 25 × 22 × a3 = 550
Róunak: => 550 × a3 = 550
Róunak: => a3 = 550/550
Róunak: a3 = 1
Róunak: => a = 1
Róunak: Hope this is clear
