the radius and height of cylindrical cistern are 70 cm and 1.5m respectively. how many litres can it hold ?

r=70 cm

r=0.7 m

h=1.5

volume=22/7*r2*h

=22/7*0.49*1.5

=2.31 m3

h=150cm

1000cm³=1L

volume of cylinder=capacity of cylinder

=πr²h

=22/7*70*70*150

=2310000

therefore L of water

=2310000/1000=2310L
