GIVEN :-

  • Radius of Circle , r = 14 cm.
  • Area of sector of Circle = 102.7 cm².

TO FIND :-

  • The Central angle of the sector , ϴ.

SOLUTION :-

As we know that, the area of sector of a Circle is given by,

Area of sector = ϴ/360° × πr².

Angle of Sector,

➳ Area of sector = ϴ/360° × πr².

➳ 102.7 = ϴ/360° × 3.14 × (14)²

➳ 102.7 = ϴ/360° × 3.14 × 196

➳ 102.7 = ϴ/360° × 615.44

➳ 102.7 × 360° = ϴ × 615.44

➳ 36972 = ϴ × 615.44

➳ ϴ = 36972/615.44

➳ ϴ = 60.07°.

ϴ 60°. [Approx]

Hence the Central angle of the sector , ϴ is 60° approx.
