Given, the radius of the circle=7cm and π=22/7

We will use the formula of the area of the circle which is given as-

⇒⇒The area of the circle=πr² where r is radius of the circle and π is pi constant.

On putting the value of radius and pi constant in the formula, we get-

⇒⇒The area of the circle=22/7×(7)²

We can write a² as a×a because the square of a number is a multiple of itself.

So get-

⇒⇒The area of the circle=22/7×7×7

On solving, we get-

⇒⇒The area of the circle=22×7

On multiplication,

we get-

⇒⇒The area of the circle=154 cm²

The area of the circle of radius 7cm is 154 cm²
