Answer:

let the radius of circle is R

So, area of circle  is   A=pi R^2

radius  of circle is increased by 1%

so new radius of circle is R=R+1% of R=1.01R

Pi?(1.01R)^2 = 1.0201piR^2

Hence % change in area of circle=change in area of circle/intial area of circle*100

(1.0201piR^2 - pi R^2)/piR^2 * 100

=2.01%

that is amnswer
