Step-by-step explanation:

let the radius of required circle be = R

circumference of the circle = 2πR

radius of other two circle be x and y

where x = 18 cm and y = 10 cm

circumference of the 1st circle is = 2πx

circumference of the 2nd circle is = 2πy

sum of the circumference

= 2πx + 2πy

= 2π (x + y)

= 2π ( 18 + 10)

= 2π (28)

circumference of required circle is equal to the sum of circumference of the two circle

2πR = 2π(28)

R = 28

therefore the radius of required circle is 28 cm
