Radius of Pond-28m

width of path-1.4m

\red{\boxed{Area\:of\:path=length\:of\:path×width}}

\underline{\blue{length\:of\:path=circumference\:of\:pond}}

length = 2\pi28 \\  = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 28 \\ 2 \times 22 \times 4 \\  =17 6m
Length=176m

now by using boxed formula we get area

Area=176×1.4

=246.4m^2

\blue{\boxed{Area=246.4m^2}}.
