Given : Radius of cone , (r) = 7 cm

Curved surface area, (C.S.A) = 176 cm²

We know that ,Curved surface area, C.S.A. of a cone = πrl

πrl = 176

22/7 x 7 x l = 176

22 × l = 176

l = 176/22

l = 8

Hence, the slant height of the cone is 8 cm.

Extra information :

Slant height :

The length of the line segment joining the vertex to any point on a circular edge of the base is called the slant height of the cone.
