Given:

Radius of the cylinder = 14cm

• Height of the cylinder = 20cm

To find :

CSA

• TSA

• Volume .

Solution :

i) As we know that :

CSA of cylinder = 2 π rh

=> CSA of cylinder = 2 (22/7)( 14)(20)

=> CSA of cylinder = 88×20

=> CSA of cylinder = 1760 cm² .

ii) As we know that :

TSA of cylinder = 2 π r ( r + h )

=> TSA of cylinder = 2 (22/7)(14)(14+20)

=> TSA of cylinder = 88(34)

=> TSA of cylinder = 2992 cm².

iii) As we know that :

Volume of cylinder = π h

=> Volume of cylinder = (22/7) (14 ×14)(20)

=> volume of cylinder = 22×28×20

=> Volume of cylinder = 12320 cm³ .
