Let the radius be r

Height be 1 cm

Volume of cylinder=πr²h

=22/7×r²×1

After doubling the radius

Radius =2r

Volume=πr²h

=22/7×(2r)²×1

=22/7×4r²

=88/7r²

Change in volume =88/7r²÷22/7r²

= _88_r²×7__

22 r² ×7

= 4

Therefore. the volume will be increase 4 times if we double the radius of cylinder
