New height = h + 50/100*h = 3/2h

Change volume = 3/8 pi*r*r*h

CHANGE IN VOLUME = (3/8 -1) pi*r*r*h /pi*r*r*h × 100

= 5×100/8

= 62.5% decrease in volume.
