the radius of a sphere is 2.1 cm. It is recasted into a cylinder having diameter same as the sphere. Find the height of the cylinder.​

Answer:

Given that;

diameter of sphere = diameter of cylinder

Therefore,

radius of sphere = radius of cylinder = 2.1 cm

ATQ,

Volume of sphere = Volume of cylinder

 \frac{4}{3} \pi  {r}^{3}  = \pi \:{r}^{2}h

Now, refer to the picture

Therefore, height of the cylinder is 2.8 cm

cancel the equal pie from each

it is given that the diameter of cylinder is same as the sphere

therefore radius of cyclinder =radius of sphere

r∧2h=4/3r∧3

radius is cancelled from both the side

h=4/3r

r=2.1

h=2.8

here is the  required height
