Circumference=2πr

=2*22/7*0.70=4.4m

Distance=revolutions*circumference

22000m=revolutions*4.4m

Revolutions=22000/4.4

=5000 revolutions

  • Radius of the wheel = 0.70 m

\footnotesize\bold{\underline{\underline{\sf{\red{Therefore:-}}}}}\\\\

 \sf \: Circumference  = 2\pi \: r \\  \\  \leadsto \sf \: Circumference = 2 \times  \dfrac{22}{ \cancel7}  \times  \cancel{0.70 \:} m \:  \\  \\ \leadsto \sf \: Circumference =2 \times 22 \times 0.10 \: m \\  \\ \leadsto \sf \: Circumference =44 \times 0.10 \: m \\  \\ \leadsto \sf \: Circumference =\large{\boxed{\bf\blue{4.40 \: m}}}

Number of revolutions in covering 22 km

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \sf =  \dfrac{22 \: km}{4.4 \: m}  \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \sf =  \frac{22000 \:  \cancel m}{4 \cancel.4 \:  \cancel m}  \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \sf =  \dfrac{ \cancel{22} \times 1000 \times 10}{ \cancel{44} } \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \sf =  \frac{1000 \times  \cancel{10}}{ \cancel2}  \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \sf = 1000 \times 5  \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \sf =\large{\boxed{\bf\pink{5,000 \: revolutions}}}
