The radius of the base a right circular cylinder is halved and the height is double. what is the ratio of the volume of the new cylinder to that of the original cylinder?

 original cylinder -  radius = x and height = x
new cylinder = radius = x/2 and height = 2x
volume of cylinder I :  volume of cylinder II
                                
     Apply the formula of volume and compare the ratio
