we have 7r=h

putting this value in C.S.A.=2*22*r*h/7

we get a=2*22*7r*r/7

thus r=2 cm, also h=7r, thus h=14 cm

volume of cylinder=pi r^{2} h

we get volume=176cc

Answer:

Volume is 176 cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

Radius = r

Given radius is 1/7th of its height  , that is,

r = \frac{1}{7}h

So,

Height = 7r

Curved surface area=176 cm²

Since, we know

Curved Surface Area = 2 π r h

where,

r is radius

h is height

Substituting the values,

2π r (7r) = 176 cm²

2 π 7 r² = 176

14 * 22/7 * r² = 176

r² = 176 / 44

r² = 4

r = 2

So,

radius = 2 cm

height = 7r = 14 cm

We know,

Volume= π r² h

= 22/7 * 2 * 2 * 14

= 176 cm³

Hence,

Volume is 176 cm³
