If the equil.triangle is drawn inside a given circle of radius 2 cm then the sides of an equil.triangle must equal to the radius of that given circle i.e side of equil.triangle=radius of circle

Now,
ar of (equil.triangle)
= root 3÷4×side square
= root 3÷4×2×2
= root 3÷1
= root 3 cm2 or 1.73cm2(approx)
