The radius of the circle is 40cm. If the radius is decreased by 50% , then by what percent the area will be decreased.​

New area when radius is decreased by 50%=5×5=25. Difference= 100-25=75. Difference%= 75/100 × 100 = 75%. So, when the radius of a circle is decreased by 50% the are will decrease by 75%.
