the radius of the circle is 6cm. find the lentgh of its 45 degrees arc and area of the same degrees sector.

you can use the formula of :
length of arc =thetha /360*pie r square

Radius = 6cm.

central \: angle \: = {45}^{0}

we \: know \: that
length \: of \: an \:a rc
= \frac{central \: angle}{360} \times 2\pi r

 = \frac{45}{360} \times 2 \times 3.14 \times 6

 = \frac{1}{8} \times 3.14 \times 12

 = \frac{1}{8} \times 37.68

 = 4.71cm

length of an arc = 4.71cm.

Area of sector = 1/2 × r × l
= 1/2 × 6 × 4.71
= 3 × 4.71
= 14.13 sq. cm.
