Circumference of wheel = 2πr
Given radius = 100 cm , ∴ circumference of wheel = 2 × 3.14 × 100 = 628 cm
Speed is given = 60 km/h
so, distance travelled by wheel in one minute = speed × 1 minutes
= 60 × 1000 × 100 /3600 cm/sec × 60 sec
= 100000 cm
Now, number of revolution of wheel in a minutes = distance travelled by wheel in a minute/circumference of wheel
= 100000/628 rev/min
= 159.23 rev/min
Given radius = 100 cm , ∴ circumference of wheel = 2 × 3.14 × 100 = 628 cm
Speed is given = 60 km/h
so, distance travelled by wheel in one minute = speed × 1 minutes
= 60 × 1000 × 100 /3600 cm/sec × 60 sec
= 100000 cm
Now, number of revolution of wheel in a minutes = distance travelled by wheel in a minute/circumference of wheel
= 100000/628 rev/min
= 159.23 rev/min
