Radius of a hemisphere = 2r ( Given )

Total Surface Area of a hemisphere = A

=> A = 3π ( radius )²

= 3 × ( 22/7 ) × ( 2r )²

= 3 × ( 22/7 ) × 4r²

= ( 264/7 )r² square units .

Or

A = 3π( 2r )²

=> A = 3π × 4r²

=> A = 12πr² square units
