Given: r = s

Let r = s ='x'

4/3 \pi r^3 / s^3

4/3 \pi x^3/x^3

'x³' cancels out,

The ratio is:

4 \pi :3

88:21

Given that radius of sphere (r) is equal to the edge of the cube (a)

We know that volume of sphere= 4/3 * pi * r³ and that of cube = a³

∴Ratio of their volume= (4/3 * pi * r³)/ a³
⇒ 4/3 * 22/7     ( r and a got cancelled because they were equal)
⇒ 88 / 21

Thus the ratio of their volumes is 88:21
