The rate of breathing in aquatic organisms much faster than in terrestrial organisms. Give

because aquatic organisms inhale the oxygen dissolved in the water while terrestrial ones take it up directly from the atmosphere making it easier for them. You can relate it with a child in mother's womb.

Aquatic animals breathe the oxygen which is dissolved in water which is very less.n where as terrestrial animals get a lot of oxygen from atmosphere...soo aquatic animals breathe rate is much faster
