Transpiration is a process in which there occurs loss of water from various parts of plants like leaves stem etc. There exists various factors which affect the rate of transpiration. Few of the factors are:
1) Temperature
the rate of transpiration increases with an increase in temperature and vice versa.
2) Humidity
The rate of transpiration decreases with an increase in humidity.
3) Wind
The rate of transpiration would be more where there is wind because wind will blow away more water vapor from leaves.
Thus, the rate of transpiration depends on a combination of all these factors. Hence, it is not same at all the time and depend on the environment and weather.
