Let the length be 3a
Width = 2a
Perimeter = 1600
=> 2(L+B) = 1600
=> 3a+2a = 800
=> 5a = 800
=> a = 160
Length = 480 m
Width = 320 m
Area = Length *Width
= 480 * 320
= 153600 m^2
Width = 2a
Perimeter = 1600
=> 2(L+B) = 1600
=> 3a+2a = 800
=> 5a = 800
=> a = 160
Length = 480 m
Width = 320 m
Area = Length *Width
= 480 * 320
= 153600 m^2

Heya,
Given:-
Ratio between length and breadth = 3:2
Perimeter of the rectangle = 1600m
To find:-
Area
Solution:-
Perimeter = 2 ( l + b )
Let's assume 3:2 as 3x & 2x
1600 = 2 ( 3x + 2x )
1600 = 2 × 5x
1600 = 10x
1600/10 = x
160 = x
Therefore,
The sides are
3x = 3 × 160 = 480
2x = 2 × 160 = 320
=> Area = l × b
=> Area = 480 × 320
=> Area = 1,53,600m^2
Hope my answer helps you :)
