Let the length be = 3x
and breadth be = 2x.

Time = 8min
Speed = 12km/hr
 =  \frac{12 \times 1000}{60} metre \: per \: minute \\  =  \frac{12000}{60}  \\  = 200 \: metre \: per \: minute

Distance covered = Speed × time
= 200×8
= 1600 m

Perimeter = Distance covered
Perimeter of Park = 1600m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
1600 = 2(3x+2x)
1600/2 = 5x
800 = 5x
800/5 = x
x = 160m

So, length = 3x
= 3(160) m
= 480m

breadth = 2x
= 2(160)
= 320m

Area of Park = l × b
= (480 × 320)
= 153600m^2 or 153.6km^2
