Hey
Let the ratio constant be x .
So ,
present age of p = 3x
present age of q = 4x
Also ,
given that present age of q is 20 years .
So
4x = 20
=> x = 5
So present age of p = 3( 5 )
= 15 years .
Now ,
5 years later ,
age of p = 20 years .
age of q = 25 years .
So ,
ratio = 20 / 25
= 4 / 5
Ratio = 4 : 5 .
thanks :)

Hey there!!
Down here⏬
▪ Let the present ages of p be 3x and q be 4x
▪ 4x = 20
x = 20/4 = 5 yrs
▪ age of q = 4x
= 4×5 = 20 yrs
▪ age of p = 3x
= 3× 5 = 15 yrs
▪ After 5 yrs,
▪ p's age = 15+5 = 20 yrs
q's age = 20+5 = 25 yrs
▪ Ratio of p:q = 20/25
= 4/5
= 4:5
Hope it helps ❤
