Hello friend....☺
Here is your solution....⭐⭐⭐
♦ Let the ratios be "x"
=> Two numbers are 9x and 5x.
✴ Sum of the numbers = 224.
A/q _______
=> 9x + 5x = 224
=> 14x = 224
=> x = 224/14
=> x = 16 -------------(1)
Now, largest number = 9x
= (9×16)
= 144.
Hence, largest number is 144.
Thanks...☺
Hope this helps you...

let's the number is X and Y
Now
According to question
x/y = 9/5_____________1
and
x+y = 224____________2
by equation 1 and 2...
X + 5X/9 = 224
9X + 5X = 2016
14X = 2016
X = 144
then Y = 5x/9 = 5×144/9 = 80
so. "x = 144" and "y = 80"
then the largest no. is = "144"
I hope it will help you..
