We know 1000m = 1km

= 2×1000

= 2000m

= 2000/600

= 20/6

= 10/3

The ratio of 600m to 2km = 10:3

Step-by-step explanation:

Have Given :-

600 \: m \:  -  -  - (i)

 \because \:  \: 1 \: km  = 1000 \: m

 \therefore \:  \: 2 \: km  = 2 \times 1000 \: m

 = 2000 \: m -  -  - (ii)

On dividing equation (i) by equation (ii)

600 \div 2000

 \frac{6 \cancel{00}}{20 \cancel{00}}

 \frac{ \cancel6}{ \cancel{20}}

 \frac{3}{10}

So, ratio is 3 : 10
