Ratio in the ages of father and son is 5 : 2, thus their ages will be 5x and 2x respectively.

Now difference between their ages is 27 years

5x - 2x = 27

3x=27

x= 27/3

x =9

Considering the value of rational, the ages of father and son are 5x= 45 years and 2x=18 years respectively.

After 6 years father's age will be

Father's present age + 6 years

45 + 6 years

=51 years

Answer father's age after 6 years will be 51 years
