Here, the ratio can be represented by a variable multiplying with them as 2x and 3x. We know that,

{\tt \leadsto x = \dfrac{27}{3}}

{\tt \leadsto \cancel \dfrac{27}{3} = 9}

{\tt \leadsto x = 9}

Now, we know that the value of x is 9. So, we can find the age of younger brother by multiplying the ratio part by x.
