Divya's age =9x

14x = 56

x = 56/14

Present,

Devi's age = 5×4=20 years
Divya's age =9×4 =36 years

After 7 years,

Devi's age =20+7=27
Divya's age =36+7=43

Ratio = 27/43

Ratio = 27:43

according to question ,

5x + 9x = 56

=> 14x = 56

=> x = 56/14

=> x = 4

Hence , Devi's present age

= (5 × 4) years

= 20 years

Divya's present age

= (9 × 4) years

= 36 years

After 7 years ,

Devi's age = (20 + 7) years

= 27 years

Divya's age = (36 + 7) years

= 43 years

Ratio of their ages = 27/43

= 27:43
