Hey Friend!

Here is your answer:

Given,

Ratio of ages of Anu & Priyal is 4:5

Ratios of their ages after 10 years is 5:6

Let Anu's age be 4x yrs and Priyal's age be 5x yrs,

Then,

After 10 years:

Anu's age = 4x + 10 yrs

Priyal's age = 5x + 10 yrs

Ratio = (4x + 10) : (5x + 10)

but given ratio is 5:6

⇒  \frac{( 4x + 10)}{(5x + 10)} = ⁵/₆

6 (4x + 10) = 5 (5x + 10)

24x + 60 = 25x + 50

25x - 24x = 60 - 50

x = 10 yrs

∴ Anu's age is 4 × 10 = 40 yrs

Priyal's age is 5 × 10 = 50 yrs

I hope it helps and if you appreciate my answer please respond with a thanks.
